Hall and Outdoor Space

The main hall

The Preschool is based in Bolford Street Hall. The main hall is a large, light and welcoming space. Portable partitions allows the room to be divided up into different sized areas to suit the activities on offer each morning, as well as providing space to display children’s work, photographs, posters and other materials of interest to the children.

Outdoor area

There is also a small enclosed outdoor area adjacent to the building, to which the children have access on a regular basis. We have some fantastic facilities here and have been able to purchase some lovely wooden hand-built sand kitchens and dens. Playing field

A local resident has kindly offered us the use of his field as a play area for the children. We also frequently walk to the Windmill. Both areas are accessed via a safe off-road route.

The "secret garden" at Clarence House

Children who attend on a Friday also regularly visit the wonderful “secret garden” at Clarence House, a very special place where the children can play on the grass, explore the paths among the many fruit trees, and even harvest the fruit in the autumn.
