The Preschool Committee

Sue Morley

Chair

My son Isaac attended the Preschool for 2½ years and started primary school in September 2020, so you won’t see me at drop-off/pick-up. I joined the Committee back in April 2018, initially as a Committee Member, then Treasurer, and now as Chair. It has been hugely challenging at times, particularly during the Covid restrictions, but rewarding and I am proud of what we have achieved to date. And the bonus is having met some lovely people along the way.

April Denham

Secretary

I joined the Committee in April 2020 as my son George loved attending and now my youngest son, Jack, loves his time at the Preschool too! I joined to help fundraise for this wonderful Preschool and have enjoyed meeting the other members – now face to face rather than on Zoom!

Lorna Burkle

Treasurer

I have enjoyed being part of the Committee for the last year – it’s great to be involved in supporting your local community.  My daughter Pippin has another year left at The Windmill and I look forward to welcoming new parents both to the Preschool and to the Committee!

It’s been an unusual year to join the Committee – but a very rewarding one! My daughter has spent the past year at the Windmill and has thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. It has been a good grounding before she starts primary school in the Autumn. I look forward to welcoming new parents and their little ones.

I joined the Committee just as Covid became an all too real part of our lives. During this time we have all worked hard to continue ensuring that this wonderful Preschool for the community continues to thrive! My daughter has been going since late 2019 and she absolutely loves her time there and all the wonderful practitioners!
